This newsletter series is free for all readers.
What I like about reading newsletters and alpha aggregators is that you get to catch up on things that you do not have a pulse on. One can only cover so much on their own, so it’s always great to look outside of your info bubble — I hope this newsletter does the same for you! My radar consists of DeFi and infrastructure on Ethereum and its L2s, as well as the Cosmos ecosystem.
Note that you can click on the screenshots of each tweet in this newsletter to take you to the actual tweet.
Let’s dive in.
BIT (Mantle Network)
BIT saw some very unusual volume over the last few days. Whilst I shared in the last newsletter that the forum proposal seemed to have caused a selloff, the actual proposal is now close to being passed.
With mainnet closely approaching (according to ze rumours), it seems like somebody knows something.
LSDFi
PENDLE
As is the case with all Binance listing announcements, this one sent PENDLE’s price to a daily high of $1.4. Price has since reverted to $1 as of the time of writing.
Besides Binance, all these other exchanges listed PENDLE today:
Staked ETH
Staked ETH is approaching 20% of total supply. While this is bullish for LSDs, this also reduces staking yield, which is now < 4% for three of the largest LSD protocols.
The increase in staked ETH is bullish for LSDFi, as ETH staked in LSD pools continue to grow, as seen below.
PENDLE Wars
Speaking of LSDFi, here’s a great dashboard by wu_xiuchen to help you keep track of the PENDLE Wars.
Stader
Stader joins the ETH LSD game with the launch of ETHx, set for July 10, 2023.
